Our clients are headquartered in Southern California and range from small single-office companies, to nationwide multi-location organizations. They're in a variety of industries, like manufacturing, distribution, financial services, healthcare, logistics, HVAC, professional services, and many more.

This is a full-time role based in Southern California.

Why We Need You

We have a team approach to delivering IT services to our clients and sometimes the issues that need to be solved are complex. That's why we we need you. You'll be providing escalated Tier 3 support working with an integrated team of Systems Engineers.

The primary objective of this position is to provide escalated Tier 3 support, act as the on-call supervisor on rotation, and lead disaster response for the support team.

You will report to the Elite Team Service Manager.

  • Exceptional Forethought – Sensitive to what immediate actions will affect in the long term (good and bad).
  • Natural researcher – Uses all available resources to gather knowledge and formulate solutions.
  • Detailed Documentor – Fanatical about documenting steps so others can reverse-engineer the solution.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the following:
    • Firewalls, Switching, Routing, NAT, SNAT, DNAT, PAT, Telnet, vLANs, Sub/Supernetting, Wifi, WAN, ISP
    • Infrastructure (Host, Guest, SAN), Physical Server Configuration, Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Cloud (Azure, Office 365, AWS, etc)
    • Email Flow (Exchange, SMTP, DNS)
  • Expert in Microsoft Operating Systems and related functions:
    • Server 2008 – Server 2019
    • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
    • File Services, FSRM, Security Group and Share Management
    • Remote Desktop Services, Certificate Management
  • Exposure to Scripting (Batch, Perl, Powershell, Python, VB, etc)
  • Familiar with Line of Business Applications
  • Well versed in Industry Best Practices

These Qualifications Are Necessary

  • MCSE Server 2016
  • CCNA or Equivalent
  • WatchGuard Network Security Essentials
  • VMware Certified Professional
  • Azure Administrator
  • Auvik Certified Professional
  • Barracuda Email Security Gateway Training
