Accent Computer Solutions, Inc. is a leading provider of information technology (IT) services and consulting for California-based small and midsize businesses, founded in 1987 by Marty Kaufman.
Prior to founding Accent Computer Solutions, Mr. Kaufman was Manager of Information Systems for General Dynamics (GD). In the late 1980s, Mr. Kaufman was notified that GD was relocating out of state. He was offered a position to continue in his role in their Arizona office, but chose to keep his residence and information technology expertise in California. He pursued his passion for helping Southern California-based businesses get the best results from IT by starting Accent Computer Solutions, Inc.
What started as one man solving computer problems has grown over the last 30 years into one of the largest and most respected privately-owned IT companies in California. Today, Accent's team has 65 employees with a mission to ask the right questions, educate and guide companies through the complex world of business IT, be helpful in every way possible, and reduce the cost and risk of IT for their clients.
In the early 2000s, Accent Computer Solutions transitioned its focus from reactive IT services to offering proactive IT services. They saw an opportunity to help companies reduce issues and get better results from their information technology investments in an industry that historically banked on technology problems. They were one of the pioneers in this industry, and they are still leading the way with an innovative approach to service delivery. They have been ranked one of the top 15 IT companies in California, and the top IT company in the Inland Empire, on the MSP501 list (an annual report which ranks managed IT services companies worldwide) for the past five years running. They have also been named to CRN’s MSP500 list each year since 2014.
